It was great to finally head to the stunning Lady Margret’s Campus in Oxford to help Donald celebrate his birthday in style after a long delay due to Covid. A stunning ballroom, the perfect setting for a night of dancing.
It was great to finally head to central London for Hannah and Alistair’s wedding after a little delay due to Covid. Hannah and Alistair picked the beautiful St Ermin Hotel in Westminster which also happens to have the most stunning Art Deco Ballroom. Perfect for the vintage theme and style that The Mini Big Band bring.

This was a blast. Jenny and Tom set up a beautiful marquee in the grounds of their family home which provided the perfect relaxed atmosphere for their day. Stunning weather mixed with a stunning location and guests who were certainly ready to party, provided the perfect mix for their special day.
My partner & I decided to hire the Mini Big Band for our (admittedly small!) wedding – purely down to the high quality we saw in their videos and our love of good music. We were absolutely blown away by the talent and charisma from the band (as were all of our guests – nobody wanted the night to end!)
The whole team were SO professional and amazingly talented, they beat our very high expectations by a mile! I really can’t recommend this band enough – Chris, Jon, Roman, Andi and all the team truly made our wedding perfect. Thank you!

Baby I’m yours was incredible, and we just about kept to our routine despite the panic, stress and alcohol.

It was an absolute please for us to head up to Glasgow for Chris and Sophies stunning wedding this July. After many changed dates due to Covid and a new Venue, it was great to finally help Chris and Sophie to celebrate their wedding day.
The Corinthian Club in Glasgow provided the perfect venue. A glamorous venue in which The Mini Big Band’s vintage set up fit in perfectly.

It was a pleasure to be back at the stunning Burnby Hall Gardens recently. Playing outside isn’t so bad when the venue is as stunning as Burnby Hall Gardens in the heart of Yorkshire. Lots of picnic blankets and Prosecco on a beautiful British summers evening. Things are certainly starting to feel a little more normal.
Well, it’s been a rather quiet and unusual time for us this summer, as it has for everybody. Due to Covid, we’ve been working hard moving all of our clients wedding dates from this year free of charge, to hopefully happier times in the future. And boy will we all be ready to PARTY by then.
Things have started to move again for us and this weekend saw us return for our first post covid performance at the amazing Bibis restaurant in Leeds. It was great to be back doing what we love and also great to see that this can work in a Covid secure way. The restaurant has an amazing Covid policy in place keeping all of the guest safe and we matched this with our distanced stage set and keeping ourselves to a bubble through out.
As performances go, this was really special for us and the audience alike. The first time we have performed to smiling faces in over 6 months!
It was great to see that live music is possible at these times with the correct preparations in place and hopefully a sign of things to come.
