Hi Chris – the Mini Big Band delivers once again for the Pilgrim Family!

You were absolutely great last night and the fact that some of our guests had to be prised off the dance floor at 11.45 is testament to the quality of your musical offering.  One said to me that there hadn’t been a poor song all evening, and he should know because he danced to every single number!  Thanks also for being such good sports in relation to the very amateurish karaoke!

We are now working on thinking up the next event where we can invite you!  Our choir’s Musical Director even suggested we should have you to accompany the choir.

You guys were absolutely amazing – we especially were over the moon with the first dance – I can’t wait to see the video of it as I’m sure it’s even better than I’m remembering it!!

You have been an absolute pleasure to deal with, you certainly helped my whole planning by being so flexible and just fitting around everything, so cannot thank you enough. Your professionalism on the day was second to none and I’m just gutted we didn’t get more of a chance to thank you all in person – please send on our thanks to the entire band!!

The Mini Big Band absolutely made our wedding!

As soon as we saw The Mini Big Band at a friends wedding we knew it was exactly what we wanted for our big day. It can be difficult to decide what to prioritise in all the planning, but we knew we wanted to focus on creating an atmosphere and the things people really remember – booking your band did not disappoint!
So many of our guests have commented on how brilliant the band was, and you set exactly the tone for the evening we’d hoped for. We loved how personal you made the performance, and having our first dance to a live swing band was so so special.

I just wanted to say a massive thank you to you all for putting on an amazing show at the surprise party for my sisters 40th, mums 60th and dads 70th birthday party on Saturday! “The Mini Big Band were amazing! They sounded fantastic and really set the tone for the evening of our wedding, encouraging everyone to get up on the dancefloor. The slow songs, the upbeat swing and even Creep by Radiohead got every dancing and singing. After sending some song requests at really short notice we were amazed they had time to learn them and they went down so well with our guests. After seeing you at a friend’s wedding we knew you were the band for us and have had people asking for your details a number of times since. Hi Chris,

Thank you for your email.  It’s quite bonkers to think that our wedding was over 3 months ago now; we’ve actually only just got our photos and video back this week, so have had a lovely time reliving the day.
We were so SO pleased we booked you guys – you made everything so easy for us, and absolutely everyone commented on how amazing it was to have a live big band sound to listen and throw ourselves around to!  Thank you for making our day extra special, and for coming all the way down to perform –  it was a long trip for you all, but you’d never have known, as your energy and fresh musical performances made it seem like you’d just travelled from round the corner, and your singer’s voice was quite spectacular.  Thank you also for fulfilling a long-held ambition of mine – singing with a big band.  It was just the most fun, and if you’re ever in need of a lady croonette to add to your band, you know where I am.
In my husband’s words, you were the icing on an extraordinary cake of a day.  Thank you.

Birthday Party in London.

Just a short note to give feedback about Mike’s party last Saturday. The band were absolutely brilliant – we danced all night and those over 40 had aching bones the next day! Nobody complained though and loads of lovely emails about the band were received.

For specific feedback I want to say thanks to you for being so organised and professional and choosing a fabulous set.
Thanks to James the sound guy – the access wasn’t easy and it was raining which didn’t help – yet he carried on regardless and set up a fabulous sound experience. The singer was great and you were all lovely and most helpful.

Lee Quickmire, New Years Eve Wedding.

Hi Chris

I just wanted to thank you for an amazing evening. The band were getting rave review’s from everyone I spoke too. Letting my Uncle (he was my Dads brother but is so close to us) having the performance of his life was a very special moment for him and for us and I’d like to thank you for letting us do that. He and I will never forget that and it was the icing on the cake and a very special moment…I hadn’t cried all day but that was my breaking point!

The band and performance was exceptional and I’m so glad you guys enjoyed the day also. I will certainly tag the photos when we get them back and will tag anyone I see on social media.

Thanks again Chris, you have the best band I’ve ever heard and I’ve heard a few in my time, it really was a fantastic night and you guys helped make it that special.
